In November 2012 my career started professional with my first competition in the skijumping worldcup at the age of 15 years. Exactly three months after this I set a highlight at the Nordic World Ski
Championships – as Austria’s youngest athlete in history – I was able to call myself Vice World Champion together with my teammates Jaci Seifriedsberger, Gregor Schlierenzauer and Thomas Morgenstern.
Since that moment, I have been able to achieve one World Championship title, three Vice World Championship titles, 13 World Cup victories (8x individual, 5x team), 30 World Cup podiums (20x individual, 10x team) and a second place in the overall World Cup in the 2019/20 season so far.
